Itinerary: Colca Canyon 3D/2N Trekking Tour
- DAY 01 :
- Pick up at your respective hotels, we leave from 03:00 to 3:30am.
- We will stop at the volcano viewpoint, which is also the highest area of the road (4,800 meters above sea level) from where we will appreciate a large part of the western mountain range.
- We will be at Chivay approximately 6:00am where we will have breakfast for half an hour
- From there we head towards the Cruz del Cóndor where we will appreciate the majestic flight of the condors for approximately an hour.
- We leave for Cabanaconde which is at 3200 meters above sea level where we will get ready to carry out our walk passing through Pampa San Miguel. We will leave for San Juan de Chuccho where we will pass a suspension bridge, and we will appreciate its wonderful landscape, our walk will last approximately 3 to 4 hours.
- We arrive at the town, we will have lunch and we will have the afternoon free. At night we had dinner and then spent the night in the Bungalows.
- DAY 02 :
- The next day we have breakfast and continue with our tour passing through the towns of Cosñirhua and Malata and then arriving at the Oasis of Sangalle after 2 hours of walking .
- We will have lunch to get more energy.
- We will have the afternoon free and swimming pools that are at 20° to relax after our walk
- Dinner and then spend the night in the small bungalows.
- DAY 03 :
- Previously coordinated with the guide, we got up at 5:00 am to begin our walk towards Cabanaconde, approximately 3 hours.
- There we will have breakfast and then leave for Chivay, before we pass through the towns of Pinchollo and Maca to take photos we arrive at Chivay and head to the La Calera Thermal Baths.
- Later lunch.
- We leave for Arequipa where we will make stops at the Mirador los Volcanes and Pampa Cañahuas, there we will observe one of the main South American camelids, the vicuña.
- We will arrive in Arequipa at approximately 5:30pm.
- We will leave you near the main square.
