This excursion promises a nature lover’s dream come true. --- | **Departure Point** | Pick up from your hotel | | --- | --- | | **Departure Time** | 5am | | **Return Time** | 5pm | | **Duration** | Full Day | | **Language** | Spanish / English | **Itinerary:**** **Humantay Lake Tour At 5am the minivan will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco city Thus we begin the tour to Humantay Lagoon, and then take a 2-hour trip through beautiful landscapes where we can appreciate in the middle of the route the imposing Nevado de Salkantay and the Limatambo Valley, Then we will arrive to Mollepata located at 2900 meters above sea level. small town where we will have a delicious breakfast and then continue our route for about 45 minutes on the road until we reach Soraypampa (3900 meters above sea level), The beautiful views of the mountains and snow-capped mountains will welcome us, our guide will perform a small Andean ritual ceremony to begin walking, Then it will be approximately an hour and a half to two hours of climbing until you reach the beautiful Humantay Lagoon (4200 m.a.s.l.), Located on the slopes of the snow-capped mountain of the same name, upon arrival we will have between 40 minutes to an hour to enjoy the tranquility and peace of this place and take our photographs. After having enriched ourselves with such a beautiful experience, we will begin to descend again to Soraypampa (approximately one hour downhill) so that our mobility returns us to Mollepata where a delicious lunch will be waiting for you.
